Impossible conversations

Portraits of Schiaparelli and Prada respectively.

This is the title of the exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art that presents the works of two big names in fashion; Elsa Schiaparelli (1890-1973) and Miuccia Prada (1949-), which highlights the resemblances between these two designers who belong to different eras.

Iconic pieces are displayed together with videos of simulated conversations between them focusing on similar themes to create the atmosphere.

Schiaparelli as a label is set to be relaunched shortly by its owner, Diego Della Valle (Tod´s group). The first products will be unveiled the next February. A creative director has not been chosen yet and is expected to be announced very soon.
